{"id":1518,"date":"2025-12-31T04:02:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T04:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/raval.es\/historia\/?p=1518"},"modified":"2026-02-06T11:28:21","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T11:28:21","slug":"huerto-de-les-portes-encarnaes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/raval.es\/historia\/huerto-de-les-portes-encarnaes\/","title":{"rendered":"HUERTO DE \u00abLES PORTES ENCARNAES\u00bb"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>\u00c1lvaro Garc\u00eda<\/b><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>En la intersecci\u00f3n de la acequia del \u201cFilet de Fora\u201d con el canal de Riegos de Levante, se encuentra el Huerto de las Puertas Coloradas o \u201cPortes Encarnades\u201d, cuyo nombre se debe a la existencia en ese punto de unos portones de madera para regular  el riego que estaban pintados de un color rojo muy vivo para su f\u00e1cil localizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En el interior del huerto se levanta la casa del siglo XVIII, de dos plantas y de forma c\u00fabica, compuesta por un prisma central al que se a\u00f1aden otros cuerpos.<br \/>\nEn su interior, en una sala a la que se accede por el porche, el dia 27 de diciembre, v\u00edsperas de las fiestas de la Venida de la Virgen, se guardaba la imagen peregrina de la \u201cMared\u00e8u\u201d en un altar para su adoraci\u00f3n, adornando el entorno con palmas verdes y guirnaldas de colores, hasta el d\u00eda 28 donde el Guarda Costa Francesc Cant\u00f3 comenzaba a las 3 de la tarde su carrera desde este punto para dar aviso a las autoridades del hallazgo y acompa\u00f1ar m\u00e1s tarde al Consell Municipal al traslado de la Virgen en procesi\u00f3n hasta la Bas\u00edlica de Santa Mar\u00eda.<br \/>\nEn la d\u00e9cada de los a\u00f1os 40 se levanta el nuevo Matadero y se urbaniza la zona hasta el huerto que le dar\u00e1 su nombre al nuevo Barrio de Puertas Coloradas o Portes Encarnades, que tendr\u00e1n como propias las Fiestas de la Venida de la Virgen.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>Fotograf\u00eda de la Casa de las Puertas Coloradas o Portes Encarnades tomada en 1981.<\/p>\n<p>Fuente: Gaspar Ja\u00e9n i Urb\u00e1n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c1lvaro Garc\u00eda En la intersecci\u00f3n de la acequia del \u201cFilet de Fora\u201d con el canal de&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1517,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[56],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1518","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-historia"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.7 -
